BlueJacket works regularly with invited artists and craftspeople exhibiting their work in the showroom and occasionally taking part in seasonal events each year. Our commissioning service could help you either locate the piece you want, or help find a producer to create a piece to your specific brief. Complete the form on our contact page to tell us more about the item you have in mind.
We have a steady flow of new work by craftspeople, artists and designer-makers – view these using the link below. Whilst we aim to keep our online presentation up-to-date, our stock does change constantly and we would always advise you to visit our Morston showroom to be sure of viewing all available stock, at least until our online shop is up and running.
Bluejacket in North Norfolk is one artisan stop worth a special mention. If any excuse is needed to visit and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery and wildlife we think you’ll find this a good one.
A truly unique collaboration of craft and excellence, in a secluded and tranquil atmosphere away from the beaten track, the workshop and shop were an inspiration. It stands out from the local crowd of manufactured lifestyle outlets. The combination of masterfully crafted homeware and hand selected antique gems is well worth a visit to the North Norfolk Coast.
I love this shop. It’s a showroom for a collective of local artists, but nothing like as bad as that sounds. It’s full of beautiful handmade or restored rugs, furniture, knitwear, ceramics, jewellery and toys. There’s a workshop proper adjoining it, so you can look through and wish you could create something lovely, too. When I grow up, I’m going to buy everything there.
Although quite small it is choc-o-bloc with interesting items such as textiles, millinery, jewellery, paintings, antiques and by today’s standards an unusual range of hand knitted children’s ganseys, hose and berets all guaranteed tickle proof.
Something a little bit special on the edge of the marsh at Morston. Go and have a look and let Ned, Roberta and Nick tell you about this gorgeous little place…you may even get a piece of homemade cake and a cup of tea!
